Shi-awela Hunting Safaris has been operating in the Limpopo Province since 1990. We offer hunting Safaris as well as Photographic Safaris, catering to both the first time international hunter in Africa, as well as experienced returning hunters and local guests.

Tailored hunts, hunting packages and prices are available on request. Hunting Outfitter and Professional Hunter, Kenneth Ball, has been hunting since he was a boy. Together with his wife, Joanne and their two young children, they would like to invite you to share this African Heritage.

Hunting Safaris are tailored to suit your personal interest. Hunts are based on our 10,000 acre family ranch, and Safari Lodge. Concession areas are held in the Limpopo Province and are utilized depending on your trophy preferences. Shi-awela Safaris also cooperates with outfitters country wide, as well as neighboring countries, enabling you to enjoy and experience the best of Southern Africa. Bow Hunting

Bow Hunting is conducted from strategically located pit and elevated blinds, allowing the hunter close access to game for good arrow placement. Shots are taken on an average of 20 yards, and can be video recorded for analysis. (Professional video available.)

Combination Hunt

For those that enjoy the challenge of both rifle and bow hunting, hunters are welcome to bring both their bows and rifles. We recommend bow hunting in the morning and rifle hunting in the afternoon, giving the sportsman the opportunity to experience a full day of excitement and variety.

Wing Shooting

Shi-awela Safaris offers wing shooting as an "optional extra". Shoots are primarily walk up over dogs, or driven and can include Francolin, dove, and guinea fowl shoots. Water fowl and fly fishing is also available.

Taxidermy

Shi-awela Safaris recommends the use of a local taxidermist for control over your trophies and the end product. Exportation of processed products is less complicated with African species and is cost efficient in respect of the time, art and shipment.
