SHI-AWELA HUNTING SAFARIS

Hunts are conducted on our 10,000 acre property in the Limpopo Province. Concession areas are held within the Province, and are utilized depending on your trophy preferences. Shi-awela also cooperates with outfitters country wide, and neighboring countries, enabling you to enjoy and experience the best of Southern Africa.

Hunting can be done throughout the year, although the cooler months (April to September) are recommended.

Shi-awela Safari Lodge can accommodate a total of 8 guests.

Your accommodation on concession areas may vary according to your personalized itinerary. From luxury game lodges, rustic bush camps, guest houses, to typical South African farm houses, all of which are sufficiently equipped to ensure your personal comfort. Shi-awela has specialized in BOW HUNTING since 1990 and we pride ourselves as a premier bow hunting destination.

CONDITIONS AND TERMS OF BUSINESS

• Our rates are based on current prices, and are subject to change without written notice.

• Animals taken or wounded will be paid for.

• Day rates are applicable for day of arrival and day of departure, irrespective of activity.

• A 50% non-refundable deposit of basic hunt is required to confirm your booking.

• The balance of the hunt is due prior to arrival.

• Payment by wire transfer is preferred. Guaranteed check, traveler's checks, or cash also accepted.

• All other costs incurred during safari, with trophy fees are payable on completion of safari.

• Accommodation, laundry, meals, local soft drinks.

• The service of an experienced & licensed Professional Hunter, staff & equipped hunting vehicle.

• Field Preparation of Trophies.

• Government Tax.

EXCLUDED FROM DAILY RATES

• Trophy fees on animals bagged, or wounded and lost. 14% VAT on wounded game.

• Trophy handling fee (per consignment).

• Trophy packing and exportation ex South Africa.

• Hunting licenses or permits if applicable.

• Alcohol and sealed or bottled beverages.

• Rifle and ammunition hire.

• Accommodation before and after duration of safari.

• Collection from and return to airports.

• Transfers between hunting areas, if applicable.

• Conservation Levi - $10 per animal (optional)

• PH & Staff Gratuities.

LIABILITY, INSURANCE AND MEDICAL

No responsibility can be accepted for any illness, accident or loss. Clients are advised to take out comprehensive travel insurance before they leave for safari. “Hunt Cancellation” insurance is also recommended. Please ensure our office has your Medical Insurance Membership details.

We recommend clients take anti malarial precaution and sun protection is vital.

BIG 5 PHOTOGRAPHIC ADVENTURE $2000.00 pp

This four day Safari takes you into some of South Africa’s prime “BIG FIVE” country, revealing wildlife that Africa is famous for. You will experience viewing dangerous game “up close” and night drives from an open safari vehicle. Time will also be spent in the Kruger National Park where you will be able to absorb vast tracks of virgin land and the wildlife it holds. A visit to the Letaba Elephant Museum that hosts the Kruger’s famous “Magnificant Seven”, is simply a MUST! Listen to the roar of a lion or the call of a night jar, and know that you are in AFRICA!

MOZAMBIQUE OCEAN ADVENTURE $175.00 pppn

The Inhambane International airport is approximately half an hour from this magical Ocean Beach Resort. Flights (approx 2 hours) run Mon, Wed & Fri, so you can plan your stay as long or short as you have time for. Available is Deep Sea fishing, Snorkeling, Diving, and simply enjoying this wonderful un-spoilt part of Africa, with warm water and lovely beaches. Price quoted is D/B&B.
