Is it safe to drink the water?
Yes! The water from our tap is safe.
Should I worry about Malaria or other illnesses?
We are in a Malaria free area. The off property excursions take you into malaria areas, so it is advised to take anti-malaria tablets. Volunteers should also get travel & medical insurance.
What about dangerous animals?
We do have buffalo on our property, who command respect from all!
The only animal to be keenly aware of is our indigenous snakes, at certain times of the year. Like any other, they are more scared of you than you are of them, the only time they are dangerous is if they are threatened. Being aware is the best way to avoid danger.
